FULL RESULTS

The Saint Vincent women's swimming team lost its 2014-15 home opener to the University of Mount Union by a score of 161-101.

SVC opened the meet with a victory in the 400 Medley Relay, as Jess Smrekar, Marissa Frollo, Sarah Robbins and Alexis Ferraco won in 4:13.33, just over 1 second faster than the "A" team from Mount Union.  

In the 1000 Free, Marla Turk finished second in 11:27.13, just ahead of teammate Molly McCloskey (11:33.92).  Turk later finished third in the 200 Breaststroke in 2:45.95 and second in the 400 IM (5:04.81).

Smrekar was a close second place finisher in the 100 Back, timed in 1:04.70, then returned later in the evening to finish second in the 200 (2:19.84), while McCloskey was second in the 200 Fly (2:22.86).

Frollo took first in a pair of events, the 50 Free (25.07) and the 100 Fly (1:02.50), while Paige Pecora finished second in the 100 Free in 56.33.  In the 500 Free, Robbins was second in 5:45.58.

The team finished the evening by winning the 200 Free Relay, as Robbins, Ferraco, Pecora and Frollo were winners in 1:41.93.
