BOX SCOREThe SVC tennis team improved to 2-0 in the President's Athletic Conference with a 9-0 sweep over Bethany College on the Saint Vincent Courts.
In doubles, the Bearcats swept all three matches, giving up just two points collectively. The duos of
Jackii Hauser and
Susie Ellis,
Kylie Auman and
Regina Woloshun, and
Anita Onufer and
Amanda Marker all posted wins.
Hauser, Auman, Ellis and Woloshun were two-time winners on the day, capturing their singles matches as well. Also posting singles victories were
Breana Liberoni and
Hannah Kahn. All six singles matches were straight-set wins for the Bearcats, as they outscored Bethany by a margin of 72-12.
SVC (2-2 overall) will host Fairmont State on Friday, September 12 at 4PM on the SVC Courts.
