WASHINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 24) - The Saint Vincent men's soccer team battled hard in a 1-0 loss at W&J in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup at Alexandre Stadium.
The Presidents got the lone goal of the match in the 36th minute of action, as Brian Hanna scored off an assist from Garrett French.
W&J then held off SVC late, as the Bearcats couldn't score the equalizer despite a few chances late.
SVC was outshot by a 32-7 margin in the contest, including a 22-2 edge in shots on goal.

Jon White was exceptional, making 16 saves in the loss. Senior
Christian Trueax led the offense with three shots.
The Bearcats are now 2-14-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the conference. W&J sits at 9-5-2 overall and 4-2-0 in the PAC.
Saint Vincent wraps up the 2015 season with a road contest at Geneva on Saturday, Oct. 31. Start time is slated for 2 p.m.
