The Bearcats held nationally ranked Thomas More College to just one goal in a hard-played 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup on the SVC Turf.

Corinne Burk was stellar in the net, tallying 16 saves.  The lone goal for the 14th-ranked Saints was scored by Olivia Huber in the 73rd minute.  

Thomas More dominated play throughout the first half, keeping the ball in the Bearcat defensive end a majority of the period and posting 12 shots, five on goal.  

In the 18th minute of the second half, the Bearcat offense rallied, getting several scoring opportunities over the next 7 minutes, but the team was unable to cash in.   Huber's goal, off an assist by Laura Felix, proved to be the game-winner.

The Saints (8-0-1 overall, 1-0 PAC) outshot the Bearcats by a 30-4 margin on the day. Saint Vincent (4-6, 0-1 PAC) will be back in action on Wednesday (October 7), hosting Thiel College.
