HUNTINGDON, Pa. (Sept. 29) - After falling behind in the first half, the Saint Vincent women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 road decision at Juniata College.
The host Eagles (5-3-1) scored two first half goals and held off the Bearcats in the second half for the victory. Senior 
Emily Johns got SVC on the board with a goal off an assist from freshman 
Natalie Luppold in the 79th minute.
Juniata held a slight 18-16 advantage in shots, even after SVC had a 11-4 edge in the second half.

Corinne Burk made six saves in the loss.
The loss stopped the Bearcats three game winning streak. SVC finished up non-conference play with a 4-5 overall record. The Bearcats open PAC play at home against defending champion Thomas More on Sunday, Oct. 4. Start time is slated for 12 p.m.
