The Bearcat men's soccer team dropped a close match at Thomas More College in their Presidents' Athletic Conference opener, 1-0.
The physical contest was scoreless until the 21st minute, when a cross into the box was placed into the net by the Saints' Zane Seimer.
In the 72nd minute, SVC had a scoring opportunity but 
Leo Wilson's shot was blocked by a diving Jeff Paulin of TMC, keeping the Bearcats off the board.  SVC battled to the final whistle, but was unable to score.
Overall, Thomas More led on the stat sheet with 18 shots, while the Bearcats tallied six.  
Nick Bohn made six saves in the net for SVC.
The Bearcats are now 1-9 overall on the season, 0-1 in the PAC, while Thomas More improves to 6-6 overall, 1-0 in the conference.  Next up for Saint Vincent will be the Thiel College Tomcats on the road in Greenville at 6PM on Wednesday (October 5).
