LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 11) - The Saint Vincent women's tennis team lost 7-2 to Grove City College in the regular season finale for the Bearcats.

Susie Ellis and Lucy Bujdos picked up an 8-1 at first doubles. The Wolverines claimed the other two doubles matches, including pulling out a 9-8 decision at third doubles over Anita Onufer and Maria Gismondi in a tiebreaker. 

Claudia Clemens earned the Bearcats lone singles victory, winning in straight sets by 6-2 and 6-1 scores at the sixth position. 

SVC finished the regular season at 7-7 overall and 4-4 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play. 

Saint Vincent now is off until the two-day PAC Championships in Erie on October 21-22.
