Bearcat men fall to Mount Union, 151-110 in non-conference meet

The SVC men's swimming team lost at home to the University of Mount Union by a score of 151-110 in a non-conference meet.

Sophomore Jacob Davis once again put together a great performance against the Purple Raiders. Davis started the meet with win in the 200 Free with a time of 1:47.48. The sophomore then took top honors in the 50 Free, clocking in at 22.16. Sweeping his individual performances, he won the 100 Free with a time of 48.47.
 
Alex Bolen took the top home the top spot in the 500 Free touching the wall at 4:54.35, out-touching a Mount Union competitor by a tenth of second in the 20-lap race. Bolen added two-second place finishes in the 1000 Free with a time of 10:08.25 and 50 Free in 22.35.
 
Xander Emili put together a strong evening against Mount Union with a trio of second place finishes in the 100 and 200 Butterfly and 400 Individual Medley. Kameron Faychak and Adam Gordish each posted a pair of second place finishes.  Faychak was the second place finisher in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke, while Gordish was second in the 100 and 200 Backstroke.
