Thomas More, the #1 ranked team in the nation, opened a 7-0 lead in the first two minutes, before
Mara Benvenuti hit a three to get SVC on the board with 7:59 on the clock.

Benvenuti added another score 30 seconds later to make it 7-5. Down 10-5, the Bearcats again got a score from Benvenuti, but the game's next 11 points went to the Saints, as they made it 21-7 with just over four minutes left in the first half.Â

SVC got a boost from
Jasmine Weems, who hit a pair of threes to cut the gap to eleven, 24-13.  Sydney Moss, who was named PAC Player of the Year for the third straight season prior to the game, traded threes with
Maria Morgan, making it 27-16 near the two-minute mark.

Susie Ellis with 5 seconds left ended the scoring in the first quarter, with Thomas More leading 29-19. Moss tallied 16 points in the opening 10 minutes.

The first part of the second quarter belonged to the hosts, as the outscored Saint Vincent 14-3 over the first 4:40 to extend the lead to 43-22. A three by
Babette Sanmartin was the lone SVC score during the run. The Saints continued to keep up the pressure, taking a 57-28 lead into the half.

Sanmartin scored to start the quarter for SVC, and after a Saints bucket,
Hannah Carroll hit a three to make it 59-33. However, Thomas More quickly regrouped and went on a 10-0 run. SVC ended the quarter on a five-point run, all scored by Weems. After three, Thomas More led 83-41.Â

The hosts scored the first 8 points of the fourth quarter and never looked back, winning their 59th straight game.
Weems led the Bearcats with 16 points, while
Maria Morgan added 9 on a trio of three-pointers. Â
Katie Ryan was tops in rebounds with five. Â Moss led the Saints with 34 points, while Abby Owings added 16.Â
Saint Vincent finishes the season with a record of 15-13.
