The Saint Vincent men's golf team prepped for the spring portion of the 2015-16 season with a 16-stroke win over Thiel College in a match held at the Southern Pines Golf Course in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Jake Reed shot a 74 to lead the way, one shot better than Thiel's Jason Thorp. Ben Biss and Zach Wyatt each shot 76 for the Bearcats, while Cam Roth recorded an 80 and Nate Yackovich shot 81.

SVC ended with a team score of 306, while Thiel's total was 322.

The Bearcats will return to action on April 7 in the Grove City College Invitational at the Grove City Country Club.
