The Bearcat men's soccer team lost a 6-0 decision on the road to Mount Aloysius College in non-conference action.

The host Mounties scored four goals over the first 45 minutes of action before adding two more scores in the second half.

Mount Aloysius held a significant shot advantage (22-6), including a 14-3 edge on goal. The Mounties also held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Freshman midfielder Jacob Martin tallied three of the Bearcats six shots. Freshman goalkeeper Nick Bohn made eight saves in net but also surrendered six goals over 90 minutes of action. 

The loss drops Saint Vincent to 0-3 overall. SVC will host La Roche on Saturday, Sept. 10 for the Bearcats' home opener. Start time is slated for 1 p.m.
