FULL RESULTS

The Saint Vincent women's tennis team dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference match to Geneva College on the road, by a score of 8-1.

Geneva opened the day with victories in all three doubles matches.  The #2 doubles team of Claudia Clemens and Kate Palko made their match close, falling 9-7.

In singles, the lone SVC winner was Lisa Marthens, who captured her #5 match.  After winning the first set 6-3, she lost the second by a 6-0 margin before battling back to win the tiebreaker, 10-8.  Clemens played well in the #3 singles match, falling 7-6 and 6-4.

The Bearcats are now 4-4 in the PAC, 6-8 overall.  The Geneva match marked the end of the regular season, and SVC now looks ahead of the PAC Championships, set for October 20-21 in Erie.
