LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 28) - The Saint Vincent men's swimming team dropped a President's Athletic Conference matchup against Grove City College with a score of 148-114 at the Resnik Swimming Pool.
The loss evens the Bearcats record to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the PAC.
Jacob Davis led the way for the men, winning the 50 Free with a time of 21.83 and also taking first in the 100 Free (47.64).
Alex Bolen claimed top honors in the 200 Free, touching the wall at 1:51.15.
The men ended the meet with a victory in the 400 Free Relay. The quartet of Bolen,
Benon Brewer,
Matt Tashima and Davis clocked in at 3:18.87.

John Martin,
Zach Baum and Bolen finished second in the 200 Medley Relay, with a time of 1:39.53.
John Martin added three second place finishes, claiming runner-up honors in the 100 Breast (1:03.18), 200 Breast (2:19.22) and 200 IM (2:06.80).
Zach Baum was second in the 100 Fly, with a time of 54.55.
Davis (55.08) and Gordish (57.24) finished in second and third place respectively in the 100 Back.
The Bearcats will be on the road next weekend (November 4) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for a non-conference matchup at 11 a.m.
