The Saint Vincent women's bowling team earned a 3-game sweep over Penn State-Behrend on the road in Erie.

Rachael Heater got SVC off to a quick start in game one, throwing three strikes in the first three frames.  Heater finished the game with 8 strikes en route to a 219 game.  Dani Koehler added a 176 as the Bearcats won game one by a score of 770-563.

In the second game.  SVC posted a 742-573 victory behind a 196 from Koehler, who finished the game with five strikes in a row.  Samm Firestone added a 169.

The final portion of the night was a five-game, total pin Baker set.  SVC won the first game by 34 pins as Koehler struck twice in the 10th frame.  In game two, Cassie Murcko struck on both of her shots, but the Lions tossed a 189 to win the game by 36 pins and take a 2-pin lead going into game three.  The Bearcats won the third game by 14 pins to reclaim a 12-pin advantage going into game four.  

The fourth game was close throughout, despite a double in frames three and four by Heater and Firestone.  In the 9th, Firestone added another strike, then Koehler struck on the first ball in the 10th as SVC pulled away to a 44-pin victory.  The Bearcats struggled in game five, but won the game by 13 and the Baker match by 67 pins.  

SVC is now 16-6 on the season, and will travel to Greenville to face Thiel College on Friday, December 8 at 4PM.
