BETHANY, W.Va. (April 27) - The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse earned a dominant 22-7 victory over Bethany College in Ohio River Lacrosse Conference action.
With the win, the Bearcats clinched a spot in the upcoming ORLC Tournament, moving to 5-1 in league play and 7-7 overall. Bethany drops to 0-7 in ORLC play and 3-12 overall.
Saint Vincent scored early and often, tying a single-game season high with 22 goals against the Bison. The Bearcats led 4-2 after the first before building an 11-4 advantage at halftime. SVC then held a 16-5 edge after 45 minutes before claiming a 22-7 victory.
A total of 13 Bearcats found the back of the net in the victory, including
Jeremy Kennedy and
Alex Mueser, who each tallied three goals in the contest to lead the way.

Jon Succop each registered two goals apiece.
Frank Casile,
Michael Grus,
Eric Seader,

Mitchell Bachman and
Ross Labuskes rounded out the group of Bearcat players who scored in the game.
Junior attack
Anthony Hogeback joined the 100 point club for his career with a pair of assists.
Zach Novelli, Jacke Lex and
Luke Falvo each picked up five ground balls, while five Bearcats caused two turnovers in the victory.

Kevin Tregoning all saw time in net.
Saint Vincent held a 63-30 advantage in shots, including a 36-12 margin on goal. The Bearcats converted 25-of-26 clear attempts, while Bethany was just 16-of-26 on clears. The Bearcats held a 21-12 advantage in face-offs and SVC converted all three man-up opportunities.
The Bearcats host Westminster College for Senior Day on Saturday, April 29 at Chuck Noll Field. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
