The SVC women's bowling team won two of three on the road against NCAA-II Ursuline College in Wickliffe, Ohio.
The Bearcats earned a 66-pin victory (713-647) in the opening game of the night, withÂ
Dani Koehler leading the way with a 189. Koehler had six strikes and picked up two splits.Â
Samm Firestone finished with a 182, picking up a split in the 10th frame.Â

In the second traditional game, Koehler again threw six strikes, finishing with a 193.Â
Cassie Murcko had five strikes but left three splits, ending with a 166. Â Saint Vincent won the game by 42 pins, 704-662.

In the five-game, total-pin Baker series, the Bearcats led by 32 pins after the first game, but the team struggled in the next two games, losing by a total of 89. SVC fought back to win games four and five, but could not make up the margin, losing the total by 31 pins.

Saint Vincent is now 17-10 on the season. The team will compete in the Muskie Mash tournament this Saturday, January 20, before returning to NCAA action on Sunday, January 21, hosting Penn State-Altoona at 1PM at Hillview Lanes.Â
