The Saint Vincent women's swimming team remained undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 125-108 win over Chatham University at Resnik Pool.
The women opened the evening with a victory in the 200 Medley Relay. The quartet of
Sarah Sheldon,
Kelly Kramer,
Marion D'Aurora, and
Ciara Lewis clocked in 1:54.35.
D' Aurora won a close head to head race in the 1650 Free, out-touching her opponent by .6 seconds (18:26.26). D'Aurora set a new Resnik pool record in the event.
Lewis put together a strong performance by winning the 200 Free, with a time of 2:04.10. The junior also took top honors in the 400 Individual Medley, finishing at 4:59.61.
In the 100 Breaststroke, Kramer finished in first place, hitting the wall at 1:09.73. The senior also won the 200 Breaststroke, with a time of 2:31.05.
Maddie Bartrug claimed three first place finishes, winning the 200 Butterfly (2:17.47), the 100 Free (55.26) and the 100 Butterfly (1:02.19). The junior was also a part of the winning 200 Free Relay team, along with
Claire Kenna, Kramer and
Samantha Mears. The quartet posted a time of 1:43.39.
The Bearcats will host Westminster College in a PAC meet for Senior Day on Saturday, January 27. Meet time is set for 1 p.m. with recognition before the meet.
