The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team defeated the Hilbert College Hawks by a 14-7 score in a non-conference game in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Jeremy Kennedy and
Hunter Sharp led the offense for Saint Vincent. Kennedy had three goals and a three assists, while Sharp had a six-point day with three goals and three assists.
Saint Vincent built a 6-2 lead over the Hawks at halftime en route to the victory. The Bearcats then outscored Hilbert by an 8-5 margin over the final 30 minutes of play.
Jon Succop and
Alex Mueser each had two goals, while
Frank Casile tallied a goal and three assists.
Connor McMillen got the start in goal and played all 60 minutes. The senior goalkeeper made 10 saves in the victory.
The Bearcats will conclude their Spring Break trip with a non-conference road game against Hood College on Saturday, March 10. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
