GROVE CITY, Pa. (April 18) – The Saint Vincent men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a road loss to Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Grove City College, 7-2.

The Bearcats got out to an early lead in doubles play, capturing two of the three points. Junior
Jonathan Prichard teamed with sophomore
Jon Oskin at first doubles to claim an 8-2 victory. The tandem rattled off seven straight games after falling behind 2-1 to begin the set. At second doubles, juniors
Ryan Hartz and
Zach Fox claimed an 8-4 win over the Wolverines.

However, Saint Vincent's 2-1 edge would not hold as Grove City claimed all six of the remaining points in singles.Â

The Bearcats conclude the regular season with a record of 8-9 (5-3 PAC). Saint Vincent will have over a week off before the team travels to The Pennbriar Athletic Club in Erie for the conference tournament, April 27 and 28.Â
