The Saint Vincent women's tennis team fell to Grove City College on the road by a score of 9-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
The Bearcats dropped all three doubles matches to open the day, with the team of
Maura Skelley and
Angela Popovich battling to an 8-5 loss in the #1 doubles match.
In singles, one match went to a tiebreaker, as
Abby Jo Stull lost the first set, 3-6, before winning the second, 6-1. However, Grove City's Sydney Adams then won the tiebreaker by a 10-2 margin.
Saint Vincent is now 7-3 on the season overall, 3-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.Â
