The Saint Vincent women's bowling team swept Pitt-Bradford in the team's home opener at Hillview Lanes in Greensburg.
Meghan Christman led the way in the opening game, shooting a season-high 227 as the Bearcats defeated the Panthers by a score of 896-682.Â
Jessica Guesman finished with a 191, while
Morgan Barlock shot a 176.
The format then switched to five-game team Baker totals, and SVC won all five games in the opening set, pulling away to a 733-635 win. In the second Baker set, SVC captured four of five games, winning 742-588.
Olivia Emmonds paced the team in Baker play with a per-frame average of 18.28. Christman finished with a score of 16.85, while
Dani Koehler averaged 16.33 per frame.
With the wins, Saint Vincent is now 14-1 on the season. The team will next face Penn State-Altoona in a home match at Hillview Lanes this Thursday evening (November 14) at 6:00.
