The Saint Vincent women's basketball team went to Beaver Falls, Pa. for its final Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) road game against Geneva College. Forcing 27 turnovers, the Bearcats defeated the Golden Tornadoes 90-64.

The win moves Saint Vincent to 20-4, 14-1 in the PAC. This is the first 20-win season for the Bearcats since the 2014-15 season, fourth under
Jimmy Petruska. Geneva falls to 3-20, 1-14 in conference play.

In the first quarter, Saint Vincent grabbed an early 5-2 lead after a
Madison Kollar layup. Geneva brought the game within one but thanks to runs of 5-0 and 6-0, the Bearcats held a 22-10 lead going to the second.

In the second, the Bearcats extended its run at the end of the first to eight-straight as the Golden Tornadoes went 3:26 without a basket. With 3:37 left in the half,
Maria Morgan capped off an 11-0 run with a layup in traffic. Saint Vincent did not allow Geneva to get within 14 and led 48-23 at the half.

In the third, the Bearcats kept their scoring frenzy as it went 12-for-17 from the field, garnering a 40-point lead at one time. As the game headed to the final quarter, Saint Vincent led 75-40.

Even though Saint Vincent was outscored in the fourth, it secured the 26-point victory.

Kollar led the team with 19 points while
Kayla Slovenec added 14. 12 different Bearcats found their way on the scoresheet. Saint Vincent scored 42 points off turnovers with 56 of its 90 coming in the paint.

The Bearcats return to the Carey Center on Saturday to host Chatham University as the team honors their seniors. Start time is 4 p.m.
