The SVC men's lacrosse team lost a road contest to Baldwin Wallace in Berea, Ohio, by a score of 21-6 in non-conference action.
Saint Vincent fell behind early, trailing 5-0 at the end of the first quarter. Â BW opened a 10-0 lead before the Bearcats got on the board at the 5:22 mark of the second quarter, when
Danny Tare scored off an assist from
Nate Salera. Â By the half, the score was 12-1.Â
The third quarter was played evenly, with both teams scoring a pair of goals, but the hosts continued to score in the fourth, adding seven more goals while SVC added just three.
Tare and
Jeremy Kennedy each scored twice for the Bearcats, while
Joe Puvel and
Tyler Condrasky added one goal each.  Salera recorded two assists, while Condrasky had one.
Saint Vincent is now 0-2 on the season, and will host Marymount University on Saturday (March 2) at UPMC Field on the Saint Vincent campus.
