The Bearcat men's lacrosse team lost to the University of Mary Washington on the road in Virginia by a score of 15-5.

The Eagles took the opening lead by scoring two goals in the first 3:20. Saint Vincent cut the lead in half (2-1) as
Tyler Condrasky scored off a
Luke Falvo helper.

UMW then scored six-consecutive goals to take an 8-1 lead more than half way through the second period.

The Bearcats scored the final goal in the first half as
Ben Price netted his 15th of the season. Saint Vincent trailed 8-2 at the midway break.

Alec Richard scored the first goal of the second half followed by
Zach Novelli to bring the Bearcats within four, 8-4.

The Eagles rattled off five-straight and increased its lead to 13-4.
Nate Salera scored the final goal for Saint Vincent at the 11:04 mark in the fourth.

UMW closed the game with two goals and won the game by the final 15-5.

Brandon Martin was tapped as the starting goalkeeper and went 55 minutes while making 16 saves.

Saint Vincent, now 2-6, will travel to New Wilmington, Pennsylvania to face Westminster College in the first Presidents' Athletic Conference game of the year on Saturday, March 30. The game is slated for 5:30 p.m.
