The SVC women's lacrosse team opened a two-day road trip with a 23-3 loss in Kentucky to Transylvania University.
 
The Bearcats opened the scoring as 
Kami Davis scored off a 
Courtney Kloos pass 48 seconds into the game.
 
From there it was all Pioneers as they scored 11-straight. Saint Vincent got back on the board as Kloos scored at the 7:35 mark in the first half.
 
Transylvania scored four more before the end of the first half and led 15-2 going into halftime.
 
The Bearcats scored the opening goal of the second half thanks to 
Naomi Schwaiger with a helper to 
Joey Smith. The Pioneers scored the final eight goals and claimed the 23-3 victory.
 
Grace Schneider started in net and made 11 saves on the day.
 
Saint Vincent concludes its two-day road trip on Monday, March 25 against Marietta College. The game starts at 3:00 p.m.
