The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team honored its 10 seniors in style. The Bearcats defeated Waynesburg University 20-4 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup.

Courtney Kloos,
Calsey Holshue,
Julianne Rosa,
Sade Fullard,
Caity Pietrusza and
Maria Franey for their years contributed to the team.

Davis scored the first game with an assist from Kloos. Kloos then scored her first goal of the game to extend the lead to 2-0.

32 seconds later, Rosa netted a pass from Kloos. Rosa followed it up with another goal at the 22-minute mark in the first half. Schwaiger scored her first goal of the game 15 seconds later with another assist to Kloos.

Rosa completed the hat trick as Kloos collected her fourth assist of the game. Kloos then scored her second of the game and gave the Bearcats a 7-0 lead. Schwaiger and Holshue completed the nine-consecutive goals with 14:39 remaining in the half.

Waynesburg scored its first goal of the game but Kloos scored her third of the game and made it a nine-goal differential once again. The Yellow Jackets scored two more goals before Kloos scored the final goal of the half. Saint Vincent led 11-3 at the break.

In the second half, it was Burk that opened the scoring followed by
Jess Rudolph with her first colligate goal to make the score 13-3.

Waynesburg scored one more goal but it was the final goal of the game for the Yellow Jackets.

Joey Smith netted her first goal of the game followed by
Rachel Belles. With 13:05 remaining in regulation, Smith scored her second of the game with an assist to
Lucy Volna.
Maura Skelley then scored her first colligate goal at the 11:50 mark.

Ally Zorn scored her first Bearcat goal as Maddie Pollick continued the streak of first goals when she scored with 8:32 to go.
Maura Hevey scored the final goal of the game as Saint Vincent won by the 16-goal margin.

Kloos led the team offensively with four goals and six assists. Schwaiger scored two goals and added an assist while Rosa finished with three goals.

Riley Yoder started in net for Waynesburg while
Maria Franey picked up the win for the Bearcats.

Saint Vincent is now 2-6, 2-2 in the conference and will travel to Steubenville, Ohio to face the Franciscan Barons on Tuesday, April 16. Start time is 4:00 p.m.
