The SVC men's tennis team suffered its first conference loss of the season, falling by a score of 6-3 to visiting Grove City College at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
 
The Bearcats fell behind 2-1 after doubles play, with the lone Bearcat point coming at #2 doubles, where Mauricio Sanchez and Zach Fox went to a tiebreaker to earn an 8-7 win.
 
In singles, Sanchez was a winner in the #2 spot, with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-5 straight set win. Saint Vincent's other victory came in the #5 match, as Alex DeLuca was a 6-4, 6-4 winner.
 
Saint Vincent is now 6-2 on the season, 2-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.  Up next for the team is a trip to Washington to face Washington & Jefferson on Friday evening (April 5) at 6PM.
