The Saint Vincent men's tennis team advanced to the Presidents' Athletic Conference semifinals with a decisive 9-0 win over Geneva College.
The Bearcats swept doubles play led by an 8-0 win at third doubles by
Alex DeLuca and
Josh Boland. The Bearcats claimed first and second doubles by matching 8-4 scores.
DeLuca opened up singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win a fifth singles before
Ryan Hartz clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win at fourth singles. Boland capped off his day unblemished after winning sixth singles 6-0, 6-0. Also winning singles in straight sets were
Jon Oskin,
Mauricio Sanchez, and
Zach Fox at first, second, and third singles respectively.
Saint Vincent will face the winner of the Grove City versus Westminster match on Friday, April 26 at 4:00 pm.
