The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse hosted its first Presidents' Athletic Conference game as Washington and Jefferson College traveled to Latrobe, Pa. The Bearcats scored early and often as they won 17-6.

Ben Price got the scoring started 2:50 into the game with an assist from
Zach Novelli. Price netted another goal just under a minute later to give Saint Vincent the early 2-0 lead.Â

Alec Richard got on the scoresheet at the 10:50 off a pass from
Danny Tare. The fourth consecutive Bearcat goal came off the stick of
Tyler Condrasky as Price picked up the helper and gave SVC the 4-0 lead.

The Presidents got the board with 5:34 remaining in the opening period.Â

Saint Vincent scored the final goal of the first as
Ryan Filyo scored on a pass from Novelli as the team lead 5-1.

In the second period, W&J scored the first goals and cut the deficit to three.Â

The Bearcats responded as
Frank Casile scored an unassisted goal. Casile followed it with another goal with 3:25 remaining in the half.Â

Novelli netted his first goal of the contest just a minute after the last SVC goal and extended the lead to five, 8-3. Condrasky scored the final goal of the half as the Bearcats led 9-3 going to the 10-minute break.

In the third, it was Casile that finished off the hat trick, as he netted one at the 9:44 mark.
Jon Succop got on the board as he scored a man-up goal just 39 seconds later. On the same penalty to W&J,
Jeremy Kennedy score his first goal of the match to give Saint Vincent the 12-3.

The Presidents scored the final goal of the period but still trailed by eight.

In the fourth, W&J scored just 33 seconds into the period. However, Saint Vincent came right back as Filyo buried his second goal of the game with 12 minutes to go in regulation.

Nate Salera scored under a minute later for his first point of the game. After winning the next faceoff,
Matthew Prock drove the field and scored his first colligate goal to make the lead double digits, 15-5.

Later in the fourth, Kennedy scored his second man-up goal with an assist to Price. Saint Vincent's final goal came courtesy of
Zach Wisniewski as he scored his first goal of the season.

W&J scored the last goal of the game as the Bearcats went on to win by the 11-goal margin.

Novelli paced the offense with one goal and six assists. Price added two goals and assists for the game.

Noah Cohen started in goal for the Presidents as he picked up the lost.
Brandon Martin claimed the victory as he played the full 60 minutes making 11 saves on the game.

Saint Vincent improves to 4-6, 2-0 in the PAC as it travels to Bethany College on Wednesday, April 10. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
