Bearcats fall to Hood College


The Saint Vincent College men's soccer team traveled to Frederick, Md. to face Hood College. The Bearcats fell to the Blazers, 4-0.

Hood dominated the first half of play including the opening goal as Brandon Feuerherd scored in the season 25th minute. The score stayed 1-0 going into the half as Hood outshot Saint Vincent 10-3.

In the second half, it was all Blazers as the hosts scored three more goals and won the game by the final score of 4-0. Hood finished with 20 shots while Saint Vincent ended the day with nine. Freshman Zachary Gibbons started in net as he made five saves in the loss.

Saint Vincent, now 1-7, travels to McDaniel College on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Start time is 4 p.m.
