Bearcats travel to Juniata


Women's soccer played its final road non-conference matchup as the team faced Juniata College. The Eagles defeated the Bearcats, 5-0.
 
Juniata dominated the first half as it netted the opening goal in the 23rd minute off the foot of Meadow Walshaw-Wertz. Just three minutes later, the Eagles expanded their lead to two. Juniata added another goal just before the half and led 3-0 at the break.
 
Juniata's Brooke Rotheram scored in the first couple minutes of the second to increase the lead to four.  The Eagles added another goal and went on to win by the final of 5-0. Cande Kossel started in net for SVC as she made 10 saves.
 
Saint Vincent falls to 0-7 on the year and will host Muskingum University on Friday, Sept. 27. Start time is 5 p.m.
