SVC hosts Washington & Jefferson


Saint Vincent men's soccer opened up home conference play against Washington and Jefferson. The Bearcats were defeated by the Presidents, 4-0.

It was not until the 43:57 mark in the first half where Washington and Jefferson added the first goal of the contest. W&J had the 1-0 edge over SVC heading into break.
 
The Presidents out shot the Bearcats 4-2 in the first half. Both teams compiled two corner kicks in the half.

Like the first, the Bearcats could not find the back of the net in the second. Washington and Jefferson added three goals in the second half, making the final 4-0.
 
Saint Vincent goalkeeper Shane Piper compiled two saves in the game. Washington and Jefferson also out shot Saint Vincent 13-4.
 
Saint Vincent returns to home turf on Thursday, March 24 as they face Franciscan University. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
