The Saint Vincent men's lacrosse team fell to the Grove City Wolverines by a score of 22-9 on a rainy afternoon on UPMC Field at Saint Vincent College.
Saint Vincent (5-2, 0-1) opened scoring with a goal from 
Jordan Billett. Grove City (4-1, 1-0) responded with two goals of their own, but the Bearcats responded with two goals from 
Jacob Visalli and Caleb Hawkens to take a 3-2 lead. Grove City scored once again to tie the game, but Saint Vincent responded with a goal from Zach Novelli, to give the Bearcats the 4-3 lead.
The lead did not last as Grove City scored four straight goals. 
Max Schuler scored to try and jumpstart the Bearcat attack heading into the half with Saint Vincent down 7-5.
Grove City started the half off with four more goals to extend their lead by six. 
Jordan Billet scored his second goal of the day, but the Wolverines rattled off  eight straight goals to extend their lead to 13 (19-6). 
Alec Richards and 
Jordan Billet scored two goals in the fourth quarter. Grove City scored yet again, 
Nate Salera finished the scoring for Saint Vincent. Grove City scored two goals to finish the game.
Top performers for SVC were Jacob Billet, Caleb Phillips, and 
Alec Richards as they finished the game with three points. Zach Novelli finished with two points.

Nate Salera each added a point. Grove City's point leader was Brett Gladstone who finished with five points.
Men's lacrosse is back in action after the Easter Holiday on Saturday, April 10 at Bethany to take on the Bison. Game starts at 1:00 p.m.
