The Saint Vincent College women's basketball team remained undefeated after a decisive 90-70 victory at the Robert S. Carey Center in this afternoon's President's Athletic Conference matchup against the Westminster Titans.
After a nail biting first quarter, where the Bearcats led the Titans 16-15. Saint Vincent (6-0, 6-0) Powered into the half with a 39-27 lead and did not look back. The first half was the

Carlee Kilgus show for the Bearcats. Each athlete scoring 17 and 11 points by the half, respectively.
With a 27-point third quarter the Bearcats responded to any Westminster scoring runs with stops and runs of their own. Westminster only outscored Saint Vincent in the final frame of the contest, but it was not enough to stop the SVC as the team won by the 20-point margin.
Lafko finished the day with a game-high 26 points adding in seven assists, six rebounds and four steals. Kilgus scored 18 points while
Ella Marconi recorded her first collegiate double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. The Titans were led by Katie Fitzpatrick who finished with 16 points on the day.
The Bearcats travel to Grove City on Monday, March 8 for the regular season finale. Tip off is at 5:30 p.m.
