The Saint Vincent men's tennis team came up short on the road against Westminster, 5-4.
The Bearcats fell behind at the conclusion of doubles play, 2-1. David Lynn and Mauricio Sanchez claimed the point for SVC with an 8-5 win at the first doubles.
As singles got underway Lynn and Sanchez rolled to straight sets wins at first and second singles respectively to give the Bearcats a 3-2 lead in the match. The Titans claimed the third singles point and evened the match at three a piece. Josh Boland got SVC to the edge of victory with a 6-2, 6-0 win at fourth single. However the Saint Vincent efforts came up just short as Westminster claimed the sixth singles point in straight sets and edged out a third set tiebreak win at fifth singles to claim the match.
