PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Jan. 15) - The Saint Vincent men's swimming team earned its second victory of the weekend, topping Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Chatham 150-60.
To start off the afternoon of racing,
Kris Smith,
Chris Bush,
Robert Harrington and
Tyler Overmier joined forces to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:46.64.
Noah Schollaert kicked off the individual wins with a victory in the 200 freestyle, swimming a 2:07.21. Schollaert went on to earn another victory in the 100 butterfly (1:00.89) and posted a season-best time in the 100 freestyle (55.92), where he finished third.
Smith led the Bearcats to the wall in the 100 backstroke, claiming first with a 57.86.
Bush walked away from the meet with three individual victories, claiming the 200 breaststroke (2:24.41), the 200 IM (2:10.01), and posting a season-best time to win the 100 breaststroke (1:04.49).
Harrington claimed first in the 200 butterfly, swimming a 2:23.59. Harrington also swam the 500 freestyle (5:33.69) and the 200 IM (2:22.05), finishing second in both races.
Overmier was first to the wall in the 50 freestyle, touching at a 23.73. He went on to take second in the 100 freestyle (52.37) and fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:57.39).

James Clark and Ethan Wymer teamed up for the final event of the night, taking first in the 200 freestyle relay with a 1:47.67.
The Bearcats, now 2-2 in conference duals, are back in action next Saturday, Jan. 22, when they face conference rival Westminster College for a 1 p.m. home meet. The meet will be livestreamed.
