WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Jan. 29) - The Saint Vincent men's swim team traveled to Lycoming College for their final dual meet of the season; the Warriors took the meet 161-80.
To start off the meet,
Kris Smith,
Chris Bush,
Noah Schollaert, and
Tyler Overmier joined forces to take second in the 200 medley relay, touching at 1:44.67.
Senior
Josh Ligus kicked off his final dual meet as a Bearcat on a bright note, winning the 1000 freestyle with an 11:24.21. Ligus went on to take third in the 500 freestyle (5:38.92) and 100 breaststroke (1:16.49).
Senior
Kris Smith rounded out the individual wins with a victory in the 100 backstroke, posting a 58.30. Smith went on to take third in the 200 backstroke with a 2:09.49.
Chris Bush took second place in three events. Bush led the Bearcats to the wall in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.45), the 200 breaststroke (2:25.27), and the 200 IM (2:10.43).

Tyler Overmier took second in the 50 freestyle (23.26), going on to take third in the 100 freestyle (53.12) and fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:54.71).
Robert Harrington hit the wall to take second for the Bearcats in the 500 freestyle, touching at 5:31.05. Harrington went on to take fourth in the 100 freestyle (58.07) and third in the 200 butterfly (2:23.19).
To wrap up the afternoon, Harrington, Schollaert, Ligus and
James Clark teamed up to take second in the 200 freestyle relay, posting a 1:44.63.
The Bearcats, ending their dual meet season 2-8, are back in action February 17-19 at the PAC Championship meet.
