STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 17)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team fell in the opening round of the PAC playoffs to third seeded Franciscan by a final score of 5-1.
 
The sixth seeded Bearcats fell in two of the three doubles matches, picking up their lone win at number three doubles with Abby Donnelly and Lydia Lieb picking up an 8-7(5) win.
 
In singles play, Franciscan picked up the first three wins in number one, two, and six singles to clinch the 5-1 win, knocking the Bearcats out of the tournament.
 
Rachel Zgurich competed in number two singles, falling 0-6, 0-6. Carolina Walters competed at number one singles, falling 1-6, 1-6.
 
Rebecca Kurylo fell in number six singles, 0-6, 3-6 in the loss.
 
Saint Vincent concludes the fall with a record of 9-6 and 3-5 in PAC play.
