MEADVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 5)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team fell to Allegheny by a final score of 9-0 in Thursday afternoon's match in Meadville.
 
The Bearcats fell in all three doubles matches to fall behind 3-0. Carolina Walters and Rachel Zgurich played the closest match of the three, falling by a score of 8-5 in number one doubles.
 
The Gators took all six singles matches as well. Walters once again played the closest match, winning the first set 7-6, falling in the second set 3-6 and the tiebreaker 8-10.
 
Abby Donnelly attempted a comeback in number six singles but fell short losing 1-6, 4-6.
 
Saint Vincent returns to action on Sunday, October 8 with a non-conference doubleheader against La Roche. The first match is scheduled to begin at noon with the second match beginning right after at 2 p.m. at the SVC Courts.
