Men's Swimming Falls at York

YORK, Pa. (Nov. 4)- The Saint Vincent men's swimming team fell by a final score of 123-78 to non-conference opponent, York College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Liam Randolph led the way on Saturday afternoon for SVC. Randolph won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM for the Bearcats. In the breaststroke, he swam a time of 1:00.05 and in the IM he raced a 2:02.60 to secure the win for Saint Vincent.
 
Jacob Dzurica had a solid meet for SVC as well. He won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke events. In the 50 he swam a time of 21.16, finishing ahead of Bryan Collins of York College. In the backstroke he swam a time of 53.04 to finish two seconds ahead of Collin Draminski.
 
Nickolas Jackman recorded two second-place finishes for Saint Vincent on the afternoon as well. Jackman first finished second in the 500-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 5:05.66 and in the 1000-yard freestyle he finished second with a time of 10:29.99 for the Bearcats.
 
Jacob Bacasa finished third in the 1000-yard freestyle for Saint Vincent as well. He raced a time of 10:47.01 in the event.
 
In the 100-yard freestyle, Alex Leskovansky picked up another second-place finish for SVC, swimming a time of 49.83 in the event. He also finished third in the 200-yard freestyle for the Bearcats (1:56.91).
 
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, November 11 when they travel to Grove City for a meet against the Wolverines. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
