The Saint Vincent women's bowling team improved to 48-5 on the season with a three-game sweep at home against crosstown rival Pitt-Greensburg.
It was the final appearance at Lincoln Lanes for seniors
Olivia Emmonds,
Kaitlyn Morrison and
Anna Tatham, along with graduate student
Mercedes Belch.
Emmonds posted the high score in game one, with a 182, as SVC defeated UPG by 42 pins, 749-707.
Up next was a five-game Baker team game, SVC was consistent throughout, posting game scores between 171 and 181, winning 878-662. The match ended with a Saint Vincent win in the final Baker set, 831-671.
The Bearcats' winning percentage of .905 is the highest among all NCAA schools, but the team will put that record on the line on Sunday (March 19) when they travel to Baltimore to face NCAA Division 1 Morgan State University in a head-to-head matchup. It will be the first time since 2017 that the team has faced a D-1 school in a head-to-head match.
