MEADVILLE, Pa. (Apr. 15)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team was defeated 20-6 by Allegheny.

Maggie Edwards led the way for the Bearcats scoring three goals for the Bearcats.
Kaylee Bandow (1 assist),
Caroline Mullineaux (1 goal),
Rachel Thatcher (1 goal),
Gabby Salandro (1 assist), and
Melanie Seefeldt (1 goal) all tallied one point in the loss for Saint Vincent.

Bailey Nicely took the loss in net for SVC, making five saves in the loss for the Bearcats.

The first quarter was all Allegheny as the Gators scored nine unanswered goals to take a 9-0 lead into the second quarter.

Edwards finally got the Bearcats on the board in the second with a man up to cut the Allegheny lead to 9-1. Saint Vincent netted two more goals in the quarter as Mullineaux scored and Edwards scored another man up goal but the Gators scored four goals of their own in the quarter to take a 13-3 lead into the half.

In the third quarter it was once again all Gators. Allegheny shut the Bearcats out in the quarter, while the Gators scored four goals in the quarter to take a 17-3 lead.

In the fourth quarter it was an even quarter as the Bearcats and Gators each scored three goals in the quarter. Seefeldt, Thatcher, and Edwards scored but the Bearcats fell 20-6.

The Bearcats return to action on Tuesday, April 18 when they travel to Bethany to take on the Bison in a PAC matchup. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Bethany.
