Men's Soccer Downed at Chatham

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Oct. 26)- The Saint Vincent men's soccer team was defeated on the road 3-0 by Chatham on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bearcats (2-10-6, 1-7-1 PAC) allowed one goal in the first half, before allowing two more Chatham (6-5-6, 4-2-4 PAC) in the second half to fall to the Cougars.
 
Saint Vincent was outshot 24-11 over the course of the match, including 6-3 in shots on goal. Kameron Rock took the loss in net, making three saves, while allowing the three goals.
 
Oziel Bonola-Soriano led the Bearcats with three shots, including one shot on goal. Bruno Hurtado and Cade Coldiron both recorded shots on goal in the loss as well.
 
After a scoreless first 35-plus minutes of the game, Chatham's Christopher Colonna scored the first goal of the game in the 38th minute to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead.
 
Azavier Coppin scored the next two goals for the Cougars in the second half, one coming in the 53rd minute and the other in 84th minute.
 
Fouls were 15-9 with the Bearcats totaling the 15. Corner kicks were 7-4 in favor of the Cougars.
 
The Bearcats will compete next in their regular season finale against Allegheny on Wednesday, October 30. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at UPMC Field on Wednesday.
