LATROBE, Pa. (Nov. 8)- The Saint Vincent men's swimming team was defeated at home by Grove City on Friday night by a final score of 161-95.
Liam Randolph recorded the Bearcats lone win of the night, coming in the 100-yard breaststroke. Randolph swam a 58.97 to win for SVC.
Robert Harrington picked up two second place finishes for Saint Vincent, finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle events. In the 200-yard freestyle, Harrington he swam a time of 1:49.51 to finish in second place, before he swam a 5:08.66 in the 500-yard freestyle event for Saint Vincent.

Christopher Shilaos, and
Alex Leskovansky all picked up second place finishes as well. Guido placed second in the 400-yard IM, swimming a time of 4:38.62. Klein swam a time of 58.38 to place second in the 100-yard butterfly event, while Shilaos placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.13.Â
Leskovansky raced a time of 52.21 in the 100-yard freestyle event to earn a second place finish as well.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, November 16 when they travel to Meadville to take on Allegheny. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Meadville next Saturday.
