WILLIAMSBURG, N.Y. (March 16) – The Saint Vincent men's tennis team lost a non-conference tune-up at Daemen University, falling to the Division II Wildcats by a 7-0 score.
Daemen opened the evening by winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, though the Bearcats battled with both the No. 2 tandem of
Josh Havrilla and
Braden Yokopenic and the No. 3 pairing of
Kyle Murray and
August Lawrence falling by scores of 6-4.
The Wildcats then went on to sweep the six singles matches in straight sets.
Saint Vincent will now prep for its Presidents' Athletic Conference opener at Westminster College, slated for 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
