LATROBE, Pa. (Apr. 9)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team fell by a score of 20-6 to Westminster on Wednesday afternoon.

Westminster scored nine goals in the opening quarter, before adding three in the second and the Bearcats scored one goal in the first and second quarters as the Titans led 12-2 at the half. Westminster went on to outscore the Bearcats 8-4 in the second half to hand the Bearcats the defeat.

Bailey Nicely led the Bearcats offensively with three goals.
Carolina Walters also totaled three points, scoring two goals, while dishing out an assist as well.
Gianna Murray scored her second goal in as many games as well.

Madison Weber led Saint Vincent with six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Brianna Mack also had a solid performance with four ground balls.
Kyra Lipetzky made six saves in the loss and
Cassidy Rega made four saves in the second half for the Bearcats.

The Titans outshot the Bearcats 46-19 over the course of the contest. Saint Vincent made ten saves and Westminster made three saves.

Saint Vincent was 17-22 on clear attempts, while Westminster was 15-18 on their side. Ground balls were 27-23 in favor of the Titans.

Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, April 13, as they host Allegheny. Opening face-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. at UPMC Field on Saturday.
