BETHANY, W.V. (Jan. 8)- The Saint Vincent men's basketball team used a high-powered offensive attack to earn a 112-81 Presidents Athletic Conference win at Bethany.

Saint Vincent's (10-3, 6-2 PAC) 112 points scored are the most points they've scored in a game since the 2013-14 season. During that season, the Bearcats scored 113 points in a win against Penn State-New Kensington.

The Bearcats led the Bison (5-7, 0-7 PAC) by double digits for the majority of the contest.

SVC had five guys score in double figures, while 13 different Bearcats scored at least a point.
Dev Ostrowski led the way with 24 points and six rebounds.
Mike Iuzzolino scored 23 points, while
Terek Crosby totaled a career-high 14 points, while also grabbing four rebounds.

Osyon Jones and
Matthew Puodziukaitis both added ten points in the win as well.
Maxwell Gordon totaled eight points and dished out nine assists, while
Jevontae Jones scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds.

It was a quick start for the Bearcats in the opening five minutes as they quickly opened up to a 12-3 lead. Iuzzolino scored seven of those opening 12 points for Saint Vincent. It was the same over the next five minutes as well.

The teams traded baskets over the next few minutes as the Bearcats still led by nine (19-10) with just over 11 minutes remaining in the first half. It was all Bearcats over the next five minutes of play. Saint Vincent increased their lead to 21 (45-24) after going on a 26-14 spurt.

It was all Bearcats at the end of the half as well. Saint Vincent outscored Bethany 17-14 over the remaining four minutes and change in the half to hold a 62-38 halftime lead. Three Bearcats scored in double figures in the half. Ostrowski had 16 points, Iuzzolino had 15, and Crosby had 11 for Saint Vincent.

The Bearcats were an impressive 53% from the field, including shooting 67% from beyond the arc. Saint Vincent also converted on 16 of their 19 free throws in the half as well.

It was all Bearcats over the first ten minutes of the second half as well. Saint Vincent's hot shooting on the offensive side carried into the second half as the Bearcats led 83-50 with 12 minutes still to play in the game.

Saint Vincent still stayed in full control on both ends of the court as their lead hovered around 30 for the entirety of the second half. Saint Vincent was able to clear their bench late in the half as the final minutes ticked off the clock for the win.

The Bearcats shot 53% from the field as a team, scoring 56 of their points inside the paint. Saint Vincent also scored 44 points off of 27 Bethany turnovers.

The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, January 11, playing host to Allegheny in another PAC matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Center.
