NEWVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 15)- Saint Vincent sophomore cross country runner
Grace Neubert qualified for the NCAA National Championship for the second consecutive season after the Bearcats competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic regional this morning.
As a team, SVC placed 13th at the race. Neubert earned a seventh place result after racing a time of 21:59.25 to qualify for the National Championship next weekend.
Lily Murphy finished 59th with a time of 24:04.85, while
Lauren Schemmel raced to a finishing time of 24:33.28 for the Bearcats.
Cassy Lanza finished in a time of 24:46.36 and
Grace Scoville crossed just after her in a time of 24:55.33.
Jane Huss (25:00.78) and
Isabella Snyder (25:06.69) rounded out the race for SVC.
Neubert will compete at next week's NCAA National Championship in Spartansburg, S.C. on Saturday, November 22 at 12 noon.
