GROVE CITY, Pa. (Nov. 1)- The Saint Vincent football team fell to Grove City by a final score of 59-14 on Saturday afternoon in a Presidents Athletic Conference matchup.
The Bearcats (2-6, 1-5 PAC) trailed 24-7 at the half, before the Wolverines (6-2, 5-1 PAC) outscored SVC by a 35-7 margin in the second half.
Defensively,
Keegan O'Brien led Saint Vincent with 12 total tackles, including seven solo tackles.
Nathan Parker added 11 tackles, including four solo tackles for SVC.
Offensively,
Jake Phillips passed for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Stevie Oursler also threw a touchdown pass, while throwing for 61 yards for SVC.
Paul Work caught four passes for 50 yards.
Grove City outgained the Bearcats 375-173 over the course of the game.Â
Saint Vincent will return to action next Saturday, November 8 as they travel to take on Waynesburg in their final road PAC matchup of 2025. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Waynesburg on Saturday afternnon.
