YORK, Pa. (Nov. 1)- The Saint Vincent men's swim team competed at the two day York College Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Jacob Dzurica had a big weekend, earning two NCAA B-Cut times for the Bearcats. First, he recorded a B-Cut time in the 50-yard freestyle, winning the evnt in a time of 20.06 seconds. He then added another B-Cut time in the 100-yard freestyle on the Bearcats 200-yard IM relay team.
Dzurica also won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:01.56, 200-yard freestyle (1:45.09), and 100-yard backstroke (52.77).
Giovanni Guido added a victory in the 200-yard IM (2:02.53) and a second place result in the 400-yard IM, swimming a time of 4:32.65 for SVC.
William Schauss won the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.79), 200-yard butterfly (1:57.51), 400-yard IM (4:23.68), 100-yard butterfly (53.34), and 1650-yard freestyle (17:27.29) for Saint Vincent.
Owen Echegaray recorded a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.31) and 100-yard butterfly, swimming a time of 54.44 seconds.
Liam Randolph won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.76), while placing second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.46). 
Evan Zeni also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (49.52)
Saint Vincent returns to action on Friday, November 7 with a PAC meet at Grove City. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday night.
